Popup Update - Hand crank
For my 2000 Coleman Taos, it takes 136 revolutions to crank that bad boy up and another 136 to bring it back down. What a workout! The hubby, knowing that the majority of those cranks would be done by him (up and down every time I wanted to get in), decided to make an adapter so he could use a power tool to make this happen. Adventures in Popup Camping
There is a major problem when a city girl from East Detroit marries and Alaskan, you get a Green Acres scenario that I have been struggling to find a compromise for. My hubby loves camping, but I hate bugs and sleeping on the ground. Luckily, our friends needed to upgrade their popup camper to account for their growing family of 2 adults, 6 kids, and 2 dogs, so we took advantage and now have a happy medium of camping on beds with air conditioning.
